Visual Arts Center Of New Jersey – dates in June, July, and August
Art Camp for Kids – Rising Grades 3-5
During the Visual Art Center of New Jersey’s Art Camp, kids in grades 3-5 will learn from talented teaching artists, make amazing projects, and meet new friends in the studio. Each session features 2D and 3D artmaking, using a variety of media, which may include painting, drawing, sculpture, and/or mixed media. On Fridays, friends and family are invited to celebrate your young artist’s creations at the culminating art exhibition.
Art Camp for Tweens – Rising Grades 6-8
During the Visual Art Center of New Jersey’s Art Camp, tweens in grades 6-8 will learn from talented teaching artists, make amazing projects, and meet new friends in the studio. This offering is especially for tweens, allowing them to explore art media and techniques in greater depth. Each session features a deep dive into the media listed. On Fridays, friends and family are invited to celebrate your young artist’s creations at the culminating art exhibition.
ASPire Elite High School Tennis camp 6/24 – 6/28, 8/5 – 8/9
TRAINING CAMP FOR HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS: Players will train up to 4 hours per day on court, as well as participate in classroom sessions that will highlight mental training strategies, tactical development, and video analysis review. By the end of the week, players will learn more advanced competition strategies, how to make in-match adjustments, and better understand how to train and organize their own games. This camp is run by Army West Point’s Head Tennis Coach, Randy Rowley, and International Tennis Coach Brandyn Fisher (PhD Sports Psychology) who also serves as Pingry Athletics’ Mental Performance Coach.
Fleming Tech Camps 6/10 – 6/14, 6/17 – 6/21, 6/24 – 6/28, 7/1 – 7/5, 8/12 – 8/16, 8/19 – 8/23, 8/26 – 8/30
Are your kids interested in learning how video games are made, or love learning about technology? Do they have an interest in coding, robots, video production, animation, graphic design, LEGOs, 3D printing, photography, website building, and/or creating amazing Minecraft worlds? If so, Fleming Tech camps will provide endless summer fun and inspiration for your camper.
Adirondack Farm and Mountain Camp (Lake Placid, NY) 8/19 – 8/23
In partnership with educators at Camp Treetops, a seven-week sleepaway camp in Lake Placid, NY, BBS Farm and Mountain students will learn about cutting-edge environmental sustainability and farming techniques on the property’s working farm and forest. They will care for horses, chickens, sheep, and other animals, and help cook meals with a professional farm-to-table educator. Immersed in the heart of the six-million-acre Adirondack State Park, participants will explore local trails and mountain peaks on day hikes. All the while, they’ll reside in a historic lake house retreat with views of mighty Cascade Mountain and the Sentinel Wilderness in the distance.
Real Madrid Soccer Camp 7/8-7/11
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to train with international soccer coaches from one of the world’s greatest and most prestigious soccer organizations — Real Madrid! Campers will not only work on fundamentals and tactics, but they will develop using the methodology and philosophy of The “Cantera” (Academy) of the Real Madrid CF.
GRIT Basketball Camp 6/24 – 6/28, 7/1 & 7/2, 8/5 – 8/9
If you’re a player who shoots thousands of shots in your driveway, goes to practice early and stays late, is often the only one working out at the gym, GRIT is for you. GRIT — Game Ready Intense Training — is a basketball training program and philosophy for athletes who want to take their game to an elite level. We believe that all players – whether you’re just getting started or have started varsity for 3 years – have untapped potential and we are committed to helping you achieve the level of growth and confidence you need to play at the next level. Pingry Swim Intensive
Big Blue Summer is offering a more robust swim training program for Summer 2019, as we’re bringing in coaches who specialize in certain events and skills. Pingry’s community of beginner swimmers and elite competitive swimmers can all take their skills to the next level in this swim intensive program, which features instruction from the same coaches every day for a week, producing results more efficiently than once-per-week instruction.
