Big Blue Summer Employment Opportunities

**Staff Training for new and returning staff members will be held June 6 – June 7**

2020 Hiring:

Applications for new employees will open in January. We expect to need new counselors (ages 16+), swim instructors/lifeguards (ages 15+), and interns (ages 15+) each summer. Leadership and specialty position availability is dependent on responses from our returning staff, however we always encourage professional educators to get in touch with us at if they are interested in getting involved in our program!

Stellar returning staff who worked 4+ weeks in 2019 and/or 2018 and reliably demonstrated Honor C.O.D.E. principles will be invited to apply to return in early December. This year, we will ask that you complete an abbreviated CampBrain application – including availability – by March 31, 2020 for a guaranteed position. If you are unable to return this summer, simply email Mrs. Harabin to be removed from the list.

Applications for the volunteer Counselor-in-Training Program will open February 1, 2020 and close March 2, 2020. This pre-employment leadership training program is open to students currently in 8th or 9th grade who are considering future employment with Big Blue Summer. Interviews for this program will be scheduled during the month of March. Applicants will receive a decision in early April. Please visit the CIT page to learn more about this program.
