The administrative team serves as the point of contact between camp and the outside world, and among the many programs Big Blue Summer offers each year. We currently seek qualified staff with demonstrated administrative experience for the following positions:
Summer Programs Receptionist (AM or PM)
First point of contact with parents. Answers phones and welcomes families to our campus. Requires great people and communication skills. Great position for a student who wants to get some studying done during down time. Early morning to midday or midday to evening hours.
Summer Programs Office Coordinator
Responsible for completing daily office tasks. Requires both computer skills (database, email, spreadsheets), and physical tasks such as maintaining and organizing camp supplies. Manages Office Intern(s) and assists Registrar with grouping and scheduling tasks. Quarterback of the Camp Office.

Summer Office Intern
Assists the Summer Programs Office Coordinator in managing camper attendance, distributing supplies, and coordinating transfers between camp programs. Jack-of-all-trades: Other tasks may include answering phones, preparing and delivering supplies, decorating for special events and activities, or monitoring lunchroom activity. AM, PM or Full Day positions are available. Familiarity with the day camp program and/or Pingry facilities preferred.
Summer Rental Intern
Assists the Assistant Director of Summer & Auxiliary Programs in managing the many Partner Programs who run camps on our property. Serves as a liaison between Partner Programs and Pingry Big Blue Summer. Duties may include coordinating camper transfers between programs, assisting with setup and orientation, reviewing emergency procedures with visiting instructors, and checking attendance. AM, PM or Full Day positions are available. Familiarity with the day camp program and/or Pingry facilities preferred.
Summer Marketing Intern
Assists the Director of Summer & Auxiliary Marketing by taking and editing photographs, preparing and editing copy for social media posts and formal newsletters, and conduct interviews. Good writing skills and some digital photography experience are required.
