BBS STEM Camp – Natural Disasters: Earthquakes, Volcanoes, and More!
In a week long immersive STEM program, students are introduced to the dynamic system of Earth’s natural forces. They will explore the mechanisms that allow for natural disasters, how disasters impact society and how engineers try to lessen the impact of such disasters. Through the week, students will engage in hands on activities to explore what engineers study and create to help people live with natural disasters. At the end of the week, the students will produce a newsroom update and educate others on a natural disasters.
