BBS Travel Camp: Adventure Aquarium
Camp at a Glance
Penguins and hippos and sharks… oh my! We’ll take a bus ride to southern New Jersey to visit Adventure Aquarium, which is home to over 15,000 aquatic species throughout two million gallons of water. The aquarium holds the largest collection of sharks on the east coast, including the only hammerhead shark on exhibit in America, and features the longest shark bridge in the world — a v-shaped rope suspension bridge that crosses over an exhibit called Shark Realm. You’ll also get to see animals such as rare little blue penguins, jellyfish, stingrays, and the only hippos on exhibit anywhere in the world!
Campers can register for one day or the whole week.
Lunch is included.
- Adventure Aquarium is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), and is held to the absolute highest standards in animal care and exhibition.
