Heroes and Villians Writing Workshop
Heroes and villains have been present for centuries in folktales, myths, and legends. Storytellers have used these epic characters to depict the struggles and triumphs of humanity. In this course, students will examine the essence of heroes and villains across cultures and time. Students will engage in close readings, group discussions, and writers’ workshop to develop analytical skills to examine the cultural purpose, flaws,and virtues of these characters. Students will create both critical and creative projects.
