International Ivy – Youngster: Programming with Dash & Dot
Dash is a cute, three-legged, motorized robot and Dot is its sidekick. Dash hears and responds to sounds, navigates around a room, avoid obstacles, and comes to life with sound and lights. Our youngster students will explore the use of a drag and drop programming application, Blockly, to control the movements of Dash. Students will learn about sensors, inputs, outputs, sequencing, conditionals and loops as they use their problem-solving skills to solve challenges like getting Dash through a maze.
