Middle School Study Skills
Designed for students who are serious about increasing their learning curve, this highly-charged workshop teaches participants how to process and master information by becoming more effective learners. Participants work on organizational skills, time management, note-taking techniques for both lectures and written documents, critical attributes of review and rehearsals, text analysis, and text preparation. Students identify their own learning styles through a study-skills inventory. They are also exposed to critical thinking skills essential for success in the higher grades.
